1973 Honda CB750 Period Correct 1970's Chopper

Listed August 07, 2017

Built by Rawhide Cycles. Completed June, 2016. Chosen by Street Chopper Magazine to be featured in their Fall/Winter 2016 issue with a 4 page spread. Bike has been built from the ground up with the nicest parts available and custom everything.

Frame: 1970's Santee with a 38° rake.

Front end: 1970's Jammer, rebuilt and re-chromed. 10 inches over stock.

Wheels, Tires: Front is a spool hub with a 21" x 1.6" skinny Hallcraft rim. Rear is a stock hub with a 16" H-D style rim. Both are laced with chrome spokes. Front tire is a 21" Avon Speedmaster. Rear is a 5.00 x 16" Avon MKII

Paint: Jack "Pacman" McCann from Los Angeles. Paint manufacturer: Matrix System, Paint Huffer Silver Bullet Flake. Teal, orange, candy green, champagne metallic, gloss black.

Carbs: Stock Keihin completely rebuilt and restored, chromed tops and bowls, painted bodies. Jetted perfectly.

Electronics: New custom wiring harness, Dynatek coils, Antigravity battery, Charlie's Place electronic ignition, Rick's regulator/rectifier.

Tank, etc: Unknown NOS vintage prism tank and fender, Rawhide custom seat pan, sissy bar.

Engine: Stock bore with new Honda OEM rings, cam chain, cam chain adjuster, primary chain tensioner, seals and Vesrah gasket kit. I personally went through the entire motor and cleaned and rebuilt the entire thing. It is a solid nice motor. Cylinders were honed, cylinder head was machined flat, valves and seats were cut. (The 836 kit motor featured in the magazine was replaced because of a flaw in an aftermarket part that caused damage. Nothing from that motor was re-used and the new motor is a better setup for this bike). The price of the bike reflects this change.

Upholstery: Brandon Herzberg / Interior Revolution using leather and a sparkle welting on the seams.

Chrome: Global Plating.

This is a full show bike. Has seen very few miles and is in nearly perfect condition minus a scratch here and there. Shown at Born Free 8, Boise Roadster Show and the One Motorcycle show in Portland. It is a crowd pleaser and a real runner. If you want a show bike that you can take home awards with and also ride across the country, Jolene is the bike for you. Clean title in hand. Feel free to ask any questions you have.

I have a professional shipper than can ship anywhere in the US in an enclosed trailer, fully insured.
